Match 2 – Andover Under 13 Girls Andover Leisure Centre hosted match 2 of the Sportshall league with clubs from Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Havant & Aldershot competing. Despite the superior size of these clubs, little old Andover & Overton fielded a strong team made up new stars to Sportshall and seasoned veterans. [...] Andover & Overton Sportshall Partnership Blossoms for U13 Girls The newly amalgamated Andover & Overton Sportshall team reaped the benefits of joining forces as the U13 girls finished 3rd in a highly competitive league against 9 other clubs. Despite there being sixteen under 13 girls on the Andover club register only 3 stood [...] Two of Andover AC’s athletes were recently selected to represent Hampshire at the National Sportshall Finals held at the LG Arena at Birmingham’s NEC. This is the culmination of the Indoor Sportshall season run over the winter months. Holly Mills was selected to represent the U13 girls for the 2nd year [...] Two of Andover AC’s U13 athletes were recently selected to represent Hampshire at the South East Regional Sportshall Finals held at the Olympos Centre in Burgess Hill. Competition was of a high standard with the best athletes from Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Kent all looking get to the National Finals [...] South East Regional Fun in Athletics Festival On Sunday 13th January three athletes from Andover Athletic Club were invited to represent Hampshire at The Triangle Sportshall in Burgess Hill.
